Star Sports Center

STAR SPORTS CENTER BREAKS GROUND
$2.8 M Complex in Commerce Parkway at I-35 and Indian Hill Rd. in Norman

The new Star Sports Center has broken ground at 3251 Market Place in Norman.  The two building complex will house four businesses that already operate in the Norman community.  Star Gymnastics will be the anchor tenant.  It is owned and operated by two-time Olympic Coach Steve Nunno and will be a state of the art gymnastics center.  The other three tenants include Cochran Music Preschool owned and operated by Kim Cochran, Art Works Academy owned and operated by Cheryl and Katherine Morris, and Shock Cheerleading, owned and operated by Leonard and Kerry Conn.

The complex totals almost 34,000 sq. ft. and is located next to the Hey Day Family Entertainment Center and across from Andy Alligator’s Fun Park.  Completion of the buildings is scheduled for January of 2009.

Steve Nunno, owner/developer, states “ our complex has been two years in the planning and we are extremely excited to finally get it off the ground. The Star Sports Center will be a wonderful complex for children to develop and achieve great dreams.  Children will learn to act, play music, sing, cheer, and tumble while having a lot of fun at our complex.  Who knows they may even become an Olympic Champion.  Whatever stage your child chooses to perform on the Star Sports Center will help them develop their talents.”
